Children and Young People Assessments

What does it look like?

Assessment Day

We aim to complete the whole assessment on one day, including the diagnostic outcome. All assessments are completed as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), and careful consideration is given to every decision made.

There will be ample opportunity for breaks throughout the day.

We can provide staff profiles to learn more about the person you will meet. We can also send you social stories, which will help you understand the assessment process and what to expect.

We understand that it is not always possible to travel, and therefore, in some instances, online appointments will be considered
